Marx's communist manifesto could be considered as a great academic paper, but it is proved to be non-practical over imperfect species such as ours. If the manifesto is perfect and morally supreme, we humans are simply not apt to it. The simple truth is that we are imperfect by design - Not supreme, not on earth not on anywhere-else in the universe - The simple truth is that there is no such nonsense as being perfect.
Even though we are better off as a clan to be more successful, we can not create socialistic frameworks. Our demise is our unsatisfying personal hunger. A lion would only kill for his survival, but us, we will never stop being more rich, and along the way if it means to be more ruthless so be it.
Today a beer loving, sexual predator in his teens is appointed to the highest court in the country with only two more Republican votes over Democrats. He was accused of being a reckless young man towards women and a heavy drinker back in his college years. Nothing wrong with just drinking, but if it makes him assault on defenseless girls, that is a huge problem. A huge character flaw. Though it did not matter for GOP, after all he was appointed by another big mouth, pussy grabber. What a bunch of divinely created perfect creatures and system!
It sucks even in the supposedly best law abiding country. It was actually too naive to think of America to be the champion of democracy. The system is built over the social contract of capitalist process of survival for the most vicious to succeed and the poor is ensured to stay poor. Poor and colored die for unnecessary wars, poor pays taxes, poor gets thrown out of their houses. JPM gets rescued, CEOs get record high bonuses.
The root cause is self-love and manufactured fake Gods. Culture-less societies may seem to be getting ahead but do they really ?
